The shortlist for the 2018 National Television Awards (NTA) has been released and Emmerdale has made the cut in the nominations for Best Serial Drama. Actor Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle, is shortlisted for the third time in the Best Serial Drama Performance category, while Ned Porteous, who plays the newly revealed Joseph Tate, is in the running for Best Serial Newcomer.
Voters now have the power to decide who will emerge victorious at the star-studded NTA ceremony, broadcast live on ITV on 23rd January 2018 from The O2 London and hosted by the inimitable Dermot O’Leary.
Emmerdale won it’s first NTA in 2017 for Best Serial Drama after years of being in the nominations and none of the cast have won one of the individual awards.
