Emmerdale Drama This Summer on ITV!
There’s no ‘fun in the sun’ for six of the Emmerdale residents as the village is set to ‘sizzle with drama’ this summer as a raft of new teasers are released.
According to Emmerdale, temperatures are set to reach boiling point on Emmerdale as Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter), Ellis Chapman (Asan N’Jie), Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) all have a summer to remember, but not necessarily for the right reasons.
The ITV soap also issued a sinister warning, saying that ‘as autumn approaches, not everyone in the village is going to make it out alive.’
There are terrifying times ahead for Tracy Metcalfe when a devastating fire breaks out in the Sharma’s sweet factory. Somehow Tracy is trapped inside, and as events spiral out of control and with heart-breaking scenes ahead, can Tracy’s life ever be the same again?
The question of ‘can Tracy’s life ever being the same again’ gives the impression that she is rescued from the blaze but who will be her hero?
Will Tracy be caught in the fire and suffer life-altering burns or maybe the fear of being trapped leaves lasting emotional scars. Plus, how does the fire start… or by who?
Robert Sugden will continue to despair as evil rapist Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie) continues to make the life of his sister Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) hell. As tempers simmer over, it looks like Robert is finally going to exact his revenge…even if it kills him. With such high stakes, what could this mean for Robert, his husband Aaron (Danny Miller) and Victoria’s future?
With Ryan Hawley set to leave the Dales – which Emmerdale producers have acknowledged at a press event held in the village today, will Robert wreck his own life with his obsession with revenge? Could Robert leave behind his beloved Aaron as he’s carted off to prison or even worse – the funeral parlour? Surely the door is being left wide open for Ryan to return in the future…please???
Down on the farm, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) has supposedly been getting Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) ‘hot under the collar’. As they continue to work in close proximity, could this be the start of a steamy affair behind an oblivious Amy Wyatt and Cain Dingle’s back?
This is the storyline that is the most disappointing for #Coira fans but also the most intriguing. Cain and Moira have only been back together 18 months after their last split and with a baby and toddler in the house, and a busy farming business, surely ‘cheating with the farmhand’ wasn’t the only option?
Plus, Nate arrived out of nowhere and even featured in a promo video before he made his first appearance in Emmerdale. His locking lips with Rhona may just have been coincidence but you can see he definitely has something against Cain (Jeff Hordley). So is he genuinely interested in Moira or is she a means to an end? And what about Amy? If his eye is wandering, why is he still chasing Amy? Plus, he’s put the idea of Amy getting custody of Kyle in her head. Why does he want to take everything from Cain? Is there a link between the two?
Speaking of Amy, she is set for a tumultuous time in the midst of trying to win custody of Kyle. As her and Kerry’s relationship reaches an all-time low, she finds herself in hot water with much to feel guilty about.
Will she share her guilt with Nate or will he be too busy with ‘Mucky Moira’ to care? Will Amy forgive Kerry for sleeping with her man or will that be the least of their worries as we head towards the end of the year?
Elsewhere, Ellis receives an unwelcome blast from the past who is not only going to stir trouble for him, but the whole village when they decide to stick around.
Given we already have his mother and half-brother in the village, could we be meeting another member of his family soon. Ellis’ dad had a messy divorce from Jessie which would have turned his life upside down so could he be set to do it again and cause grief for Jessie and Marlon?
Meanwhile, Dawn is going to find herself tangled up in a web of secrets and lies, but whose? We know she’s about to get involved in Robert Sugden’s scheme but with her ex-con dad Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) also hanging round the village, could he upset her recovery as he returns to his old ways?
Emmerdale teased the show’s ‘most explosive episodes yet’ and also asked ‘who’s life could be on the line?’ Show bosses confirmed that a major character is set to be killed off but their identity remains under wraps. Gaynor Faye (Megan Macey) is set to leave the village along with Ryan Hawley – but not together we hasten to add – and Charley Webb is set to go off screen soon for maternity leave.
Or could we be in for another shock exit? Gerry Robert’s death in 2018 came from out of nowhere so expect the unexpected…
Producer Laura Shaw said: “We have a big week at the end of the month – Emmerdeadville as we call it. Bernice organises a Wild West murder mystery event. It’s in aid of the local hospital but in true Bernice style, she has more than local charity on her mind – such as love and Dr Cavanagh. We’ve seen Bernice in lucky in love quite a lot – will she find love with Dr Cavanagh? I certainly hope so.
“Not having such a good time is Victoria whose evil rapist Lee is still pursuing her. Victoria decides the only way to get away is to leave the village forever. Robert is devastated and doesn’t want her to go. Lee piles the pressure on her and Robert has been pushed to the edge and he is on a mission to get his revenge on Lee even if it kills him.
“Ryan Hawley is leaving the show – it’s been a fantastic five years with him and we will miss him dearly. There is some time left with him on screen yet but in time, it does mean that our beloved Robron are going to be parted. You’ve seen in the past what happens with Aaron when he unravels so when he is parted from his beloved Robert, it’s going to be explosive.
“Also in the week we have Sharma drama as a fire rips through the factory. It’s caused by two of our villagers who are up to no good behind Jai and Rishi’s backs. Unbeknown to anyone, Tracy is trapped in the factory and as the fire takes hold, there’s a huge explosion. Will Tracy get out in time? It’s safe to say there are heartbreaking scenes ahead for the villagers and Tracy’s life will never be the same again.”
Don’t miss these explosive episodes of Emmerdale on ITV.
