Emmerdale’s Victoria Harassed by Rapist!
Rapist Lee Posner continues to harass Emmerdale resident Victoria Barton as he demands that she makes a public apology and gives him financial compensation.
With rapist Lee Posner and his mother Wendy constantly harassing Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins) about her baby tells Robert and Aaron she and Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen) will be leaving Emmerdale sooner than expected – this week!
But after experiencing stomach pains, pregnant Victoria is taken to hospital where her baby is scanned and her brother Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) is teary on seeing the sonogram of his niece or nephew for the first time. Victoria’s relieved to witness Robert acknowledge the baby as part of the family.
Later, at home, Victoria is felled by the blow of rapist Lee suddenly demanding compensation plus a full public apology from her. He certainly means business. At home Diane and Robert are in turmoil what to do and Victoria is adamant she will never apologise. Diane tries to convince Victoria paying off Lee is the best option.
Before long Lee turns up but he’s not backing down. He wants double the money they’ve offered and the apology. Can Victoria find a way to shake Lee out of her life for good? Or will Robert do that for her if his temper erupts.
If the Emmerdale summer trailer is anything to go by as it shows Robert and Lee exchanging blows as Lee taunts Robert how ‘his sister fought harder than this.’
With Ryan Hawley leaving the show later in the year and Robert making several threats against Lee, could this be the catalyst for his exit? Will Lee kill Robert or will Robert kill Lee? Or will Robert’s obsession with revenge cost him his family and his marriage, causing the end of ‘Robron’.
Despite Ryan Hawley’s exit, actor Danny Miller, who plays Aaron Dingle, Robert’s husband, has pledged to stay at Emmerdale for as long as they will have him. Emmerdale producers have also promised dramatic times ahead for Aaron as he struggles without the love of his life following Robert’s departure.
