New Job For Emmerdale’s Paddy Kirk
Emmerdale actor Dominic Brunt, best known as village vet Paddy Kirk, has been revealed as the new host of The Short Film Show.
Emmerdale’s Dominic Brunt is known for his sideline in horror film production and direction but he’s now adding presenter to his CV alongside his longstanding role as Paddy Kirk in the Dales.
Dominic is the new host of The Short Film Show, which brings together the very best worldwide short films, from comedy to horror, from drama to animation, from Si-Fi to CGi, it has it all.
The Short Film Show is not only a film festival on TV, but it also offers the opportunity for film fans to explore the incredible world of short films.
Airing Fridays at midnight on Showcase TV (Sky channel 192 and Freesat 161), The Short Film Show celebrates this new dawn by offering a television platform into 14 million British households so they can now enjoy the brand new variety of spectacular films from around the world; talents that, until now, were behind an array of selective closed doors.
The show also invites film makers a platform to showcase its new short films with awards given out at the end of the series.
Dominic is an avid film buff and more recently has developed a successful business as a producer/director with his wife Joanne Mitchell as Mitchell Brunt Films with films such as Before Dawn, Bait and Attack of the Adult Babies from their stable.
