Emmerdale has been successful at the TV Choice Awards, in 2018 taking home the Best Serial Drama award while Emma Atkins (Charity Dingle) won Best Actress as her historical sexual abuse storyline garnered critical and audience acclaim.

Last year, Isabel Hodgins (Victoria Barton) missed out as did Ryan Hawley (Robert Sugden) for the magazine’s Best Actress and Actor awards respectively. However, Emmerdale did win Best Soap once again!

The longest voting is open until midnight on Friday 12th June, with the short list revealed on 7th July.
